Our parent company AskYourNeighbour Limited was incorporated in June 2003 and began trading in October 2003. Our flagship website AskYourNeighbour.co.uk was launched in March 2004. It is now Britain's biggest local forum serving 30,000 neighbourhoods across Britain.


How many businesses have joined your network?
There are now almost 5,000 businesses which are fully subscribed, comprising an A-Z of owner-managed businesses across all sectors.


What sort of businesses join you?
Mostly owner-managed businesses, from accountants to acupuncturists, from plumbers to personal finance advisers, from homeopaths to travel agents.


Who builds my Profile page?
We do, usually same day. We either take images and text from your website or use material you send through to us. We email you a link when it's ready for your approval. See sample Profiles here


Are there charges for corrections or updates?
Never - we will make any changes you wish at no extra charge. We work on your Profile page until you are satisfied it is just right. We can update your Profile too at any time, again at no extra cost.


Am I given log-in details to make changes myself?
Yes, these are emailed to you automatically.


Will my Profile and listings appear on all four sites?
Yes, all four - plus two more in the pipeline, at no extra charge.


Are there any extra charges during the year?
None whatsoever. Our fee is a one off annual payment. There are also no pay per click charges.


Am I tied in to future years?
No, definitely not. We contact you by email or phone when it's time to renew.


Can I trust you?
Certainly, we are certified to trade online through the Royal Bank of Scotland's WorldPay service, and we have also been approved as an online trader by PayPal. Do you keep a record of my credit card details?
No, and we have no access to this information. All data is processed by our online merchant service providers: WorldPay, which is owned and operated by the Royal Bank of Scotland; and PayPal which is operated by Ebay.


How do I get an invoice receipt when I've paid?
An invoice receipt is emailed to you automatically upon payment.


Will my email address be sold to other companies?
No, we never do this, we have a strict privacy policy.


Will you give me FREE online marketing advice if I need it?
Happily, just phone or email us, we can answer most questions. We have a combined total of 35 years web marketing experience.
